Grow up Gotti's

Well I admit it, I watched another episode of Growing up Gotti. I told myself I wouldn't for a number of reasons:

1. I don't have enough time to commit (wholeheartedly) to another television series.

2. The more I watch the show, the more frustrated I get. I swear the boys drive me crazy! They have no respect for anyone or anything. If they were my kids I would punish them by getting rid of all their cherished possessions, and maybe even their hair gel...now thats gotta hurt. It totally frustrates me to see the way they treat their mother, and she puts up with it! Yeh, she might make a few threats but she never follows through with them.

I admit I feel sorry for Victoria, she is a really nice lady who wants the best for her kids. Maybe the kids are just too italian? Hey, if your an italian please don't get offended. I love italians. As a child growing up in Melbourne, Australia I grew up with every nationality you can think of: Italians, Irish, Greeks, Vietnamese, Chinese, Maltese, Koreans, Yugoslavs, etc, etc. So I am not a racist, but I noticed with my italian/greek/maltese friends that the man rules the house. It appears that Victoria has maybe been brought up with the same kind of values. She may appear the independant woman but she seems to rely on male role models to put her kids in their place.

Then again maybe all this is just a set up for us, the viewers?

I'm Italian and I think that Grow Gotti's is very racist film. Italians are NOT mafiosi. Italy is the 6th powerfull indutrial country in the world( Ferrari,design,fashion,etc..)We work a lot...
Italians are artists,scientiscists,poetry etc.. Do you know phone by Meucci, Crisoforo Colombo,Volta for elecrticity(EX50 Voltts),radio by Marconi etc? etc..from Latin et cetera...
And do you know that "America" coming from Amerigo Vespucci? An Italian has called your continent!! And Caboto?
