'2 young ferrets need a new home. These fun loving, happy go lucky, curious, little guys need more attention than we can offer. 1 dark sable, 1 golden. Large 3 story ferret condo, soft sided carrier, ferret care products and toys all part of the package'.
This was the ad that was listed in Craigslist last Friday, and even as I was dialing the phone number I was questioning my sanity?
A friend sent the listing to Joel who just had to forward it on to me? I am sure that Joel wanted them, and knowing how impulsive I can be, at times, he knew I would be the one to take action.
So by 9am the next day we were in Bellevue meeting what could be 2 new additions to our family. By 9.45am we were introducing the new guys; Cooper and Rocky, to the ferret clan. Of course, being that their names don't start with the letter Z meant that we had to find them new names. So let me introduce you to Zeke and Zahn.
I think 6 ferrets is definitely the limit, if not for the fact that I cannot think of any more names beginning with Z . Maybe Zuess would be a good name? Just kidding. So we are now the proud parents of Zonk (who recently passed away), Zack, Ziggy, Zoe, Zed, Zeke and Zahn.
This is Zahn, and Zeke is the little guy with A.D.D or maybe it has more to do with the fact that he is only 1 year old...I tried to get a good photo but it was a little difficult.
do you still have the ferrets? I would love to have them if you do to keep our little guy company....Nancy

I know what you mean about 6 being the limit. I have four ferrets and recently moved further from my job. It is not fair for my four ferrets to sit in a cage all day alone. I am looking for a good home for two of my ferrets. They are males and names Simon and Skye. Simon is badger colored and is 2 1/2. Skye is a blue point and is 2 years old. They love eachother and are very calm and friendly. The two I chose to keep are a male and female pair where the female still bites on occasion. My boys are wonderful and need a great home. I live in NJ and my number is 201-988-6083. If you are interested or know someone, please call me. I feel bad for my ferrets. Thank you. Sincerely,
Tara

Kawaii! :) Very cute. The original clan that my roomie and I shared had one group that was named after British Sci Fi like Dr Who and Blakes 7 while mine were named after characters in Tenchi Muyo.
