Lets face it, I have a tendency to be obsessive compulsive. Oh well, if I must be really honest I am your A typical OC personality.
I love books, and there is nothing wrong with that! I collect books, mainly older 1st editions but I have also started collecting newer editions, if I like the author. The problem is I own so many books that I will never have enough time to read them all. And not that I want to read the books I am collecting as it is far too stressing trying to read a book without crinkling the pages, or leaving oil marks from my sweaty fingers, etc, etc.
But I want to read them all as I have some really great books. My dilemma is that it also stresses me out to see books lining my shelves that I have not read. I do have some really read-worthy books that are currently lining my shelves just waiting to be read.
What can a woman do?
Should I take 6 months of work and commit to the task at hand. I don't really think that is a viable option, otherwise why would I be working in the first place? For the love of my job? I don't think so!
Well my problem has been solved due to the wonderful Seattle Public Library system. I search online for the a copy of a book in my collection, I then have it delivered to the most convenient location, I pick the book up and begin to read.
Perfect solution to my problem, now stop bothering me so I can finish reading "Mrs Dalloway" by Virginia Woolf, the library copy of course.
