Yes, I know that I have been a little slack with my posting of late, but time has certainly been a contributing factor - lack thereof.
Since joing the world of dog ownership, Joel and I have done very little of anything not relating to 'the dog'? I have come to the conclusion that a 7 month old puppy is much like having a 2 year old child running around your house - truly horrid! But I am thankful that this is just a phase and like everything in life, this too shall pass. I am literally counting down the days!
She is sweet and she has certainly calmed down in the last 2 weeks but it is just go, go, go. We are signed up to start Obediance classes in January so I am sure this will help alot. One thing I can say about pit bulls is that they can be slightly headstrong, so we have had our challenges, and being a puppy she has certainly been testing us.
But life does go on and it is getting easier as each day goes by. With christmas just weeks away, the christmas invites are rolling in and life is getting even busier - most definitely a good busy. I mean, who doesn't love a good party or two?
Last week I went to the yearly christmas party thrown by the property company that we lease our office through, it was an afternoon affair held at Daniels Broiler. Great food, good wine and a whole lot of socialising. I also attended my friend; Katherine's bridal shower which was really lovely, unfortunately I forgot to take my camera so you won't be seeing any photos.
This Thursday we have my office christmas party at the Columbia Tower Club - I hear that the views from the ladies room are spectacular, and I am sure the food will be a 5 star experience. Next Wednesday we have Joel's office party to attend, and the following night is the Victim Support Team volunteer christmas party. To cap it all off we will then attend the wedding of Katherine and Jeremy - which is sure to impress everyone attending.
By then Christmas will be upon us, as will my 1 week vacation to nowhere, and by then I know that I will totally be looking forward to a whole week of nothing!
