the new year is here

So what happens now?

If your living in Seattle, then it appears that snow happens...and plenty of it.

Now don't get me wrong I absolutely adore the look of snow, which must be due in part to the fact that I am from Sydney, Australia and have never had the joy of seeing snow in the city - unless you drive 6 hours to find it. But I have to say that from a drivers perspective this is really getting old.

Again, I should be happy that I have had my fair share of snow days this month, which means that my boss pays me to stay at home. But even that is getting old when you are stuck at home feeling like a shut-in.

So enough of my complaints.

I should add that my dog absolutely loves the snow and can be found bouncing around in it every possible chance she gets - which also means faking the need to pee just to get out in it!

So on a positive note lets enjoy it while we can, for soon the snow will melt and it will probably start to rain again.

Oh, the joy of living in Seattle...
